• Equations should be given sequence numbers. The sequence number must be placed in paranthesis and on the right side of the page.

• The text should start with the Introduction section from the second page and be divided into appropriate sections. The sections must be numbered consecutively. Section titles should be written in capital letters (i.e. “1. INTRODUCTION”) with their numbers. If necessary, sections can be subdivided. Subsections should be numbered as “1.1”, “1.2” in each section using the section number. Subsection headings should be left aligned with the first letter of each word capitalized. Where necessary, notations and abbreviations may be given in the “Introduction” section or in a separate section following the “Introduction” section.

• Tables should be numbered consecutively. Within the text, references to the tables should be made via their relevant numbers (such as “Table 1.”). An appropriate title should be used for each table and this title should be written on the top of the table with its number.

• References to other works can be made in one of two ways:

References to other works in the text;

Work by a single author: Author’s last name, year and page should be used as in the following format: “(Author, 2010, p.15)”.

Works by two authors: the surnames of the authors should be used as in the following format: “(Author and Author, 2009, p.135)”.

Works with more than two authors should be referred only by the surname of the first author and “Author et al.” and the year and page number should also be written.

Direct quotations will be written within quotation marks (“…”) and the font size must be 10.

Example: Control setting (environment); institutional (organizational) styles express the reflection of the whole on the control awareness of the people in the organization (Erdogan, 2005, p.92).

In direct quotattions the quoted text should be written in quotation marks (“…”) and with a type size of 10 points.

•The following should be considered in the writing of the references:

Cited works should be listed in alphabetically according to the surname of the first author in the “References” section.

In order to determine the ranking of the works whose first author is the same, the surnames of the second and subsequent authors should be used respectively.

Works the writer(s) of which are the same, should be ranked from old to new according to their date of publication.
